Born in Spain and inspired by nature’s timeless language. At Sama Stones, our story is one of heritage and enduring craftsmanship. Long before the company’s foundation by Carolina Amat, our passion for natural stone was already deeply rooted — tracing back more than two centuries to the work of her ancestor, Rafael Amat, owner of a historic quarry that shaped part of Spain’s architectural legacy. 

From that very quarry emerged stones that became part of some of Madrid’s most emblematic buildings, including the iconic Correos building — a symbol of timeless beauty and strength that continues to inspire us today. 

Five generations later, we continue to honor that legacy as manufacturers of both natural stone and leather, with a global presence in Alicante, Oslo, and Dubai. Our philosophy remains simple: natural, even in the smallest details.
