In Sama Stones, our roots extend far beyond the foundation of the company by our CEO, Carolina Amat. Our passion for natural stone dating back more than 200 years ago, when the great-great-grandfather of Carolina, Rafael Amat was the owner of a quarry that has become a fundamental part of our history.
The quarry of our ancestors has not only been an essential source of natural stone for generations, but also played a crucial role in the construction of iconic historic buildings. One of the most important projects was the extraction of stone for the Post office building in Madrid, a testimony to the quality and durability of our materials.
